This is lovely news.  Of course, I still have work (which is actually quite fantastic) and I have con prep for AO (not as fantastic, but it sure beats classwork)...  Also this means that I'll be less of a hermit (probably... maybe... I think).
But YAY!  THEY'RE DONE!


Also I'm putting together something for some special commissions.  I should have the details by the end of the weekend.

it was fun meeting you at banzai, but I totally understand your beef with the artist alley. I was wanting to get a table since I did it once one year, but now it just seems like they don't know where to put us. not to mention the horrid price and lack of help and information. ah well. maybe it will be better next year.

It was fun meeting you too! I know the woman who may be in charge of it next year so hopefully it will be better. But the price of the tables is what really kills me. I go to a con of similar size, that's four days long in Boise, and the tables are free. I can understand if the agreement may be different between the two locations, but it's a bitter pill to swallow nonetheless.

Here's to hoping next year is better!

oh oh! what's the name of the convention in boise? what's the general size? (in the middle of looking for new cons to attend.) I've noticed that banzai has been really slacking off lately. It could just be that I'm getting older and expecting more, or it could be that my favorite year at banzai, I didn't have to pay taxes for art that I didn't even sell and a table that's worth more than I made.

Anime Oasis! It's held over Memorial Day weekend. And I'd say that it averages about 500 less attendees than AB, but it grows every year. And the Grove Hotel is such a great location! AA looks over main events so we get to watch the events too!
